Off to Northern Colombia

Hi, it’s me Marimonda.

I hope everyone is doing well in the self-quarantine era. Today, I’d like to share my trip to northern cities and towns in Colombia. To be honest, it’s been two years and half that I travelled there. However, I thought it’s worth to share my experience because the areas still remain somewhat unknown. It was a bit wild and extreme, but it is one of the best trips I’ve ever had in my life.

The plan for this trip was : Fly off to Riohacha from Medellín and visit places in Guajira department to see flamingos and the great nature such as dessert, sea, river and jungle then move to Santa Marta and Cartagena which are one of the oldest towns in Colombia.

Places I planned to visit, Marimonda World

The detailed itinerary is as following.

1Medellín -> Riohacha -> Cabo de la Vela
3Cabo de la Vela
4Cabo de la Vela -> Punta Gallina
5Punta Gallina -> Riohacha
6Riohacha -> Santa Marta
7Santa Marta
8Santa Marta
9Tayrona National Park
14Cartagena -> Medellín
Itinerary, Marimonda World

Following the itinerary, I am going to post things to do in the Caribbean cities.

Enjoy your travel with Marimonda. See you soon 🙂
